Racing in Bremond, TX
On Saturday, I towed the starting line of the Polish Pickle 5K in Bremond, TX with 560 other runners. There was no shortage of humidity which hit me hard. Despite being run at 8 AM and it only being 3.1 miles, I ended the race soaking with sweat. Still a fun time with plenty of beer, polish sausages, kolaches, and, yes, pickles afterwards.
My stats: finished 110th overall, 7th in my age group, in 25:21.
