Week in Running: 10/8/11-10/14/11
10/8 - 7 miles on trails at HSP in 1:18:02. 284 feet of elevation. Average pace 11:30. This was supposed to be my long run. A little too hot and humid for 2:30 hours, so I dropped out after one loop.
10/9 - 4 miles on trails at HSP in 42:11. 241 feet of elevation. Average pace 10:36. Wanted to run 7 miles with the others but got a flat tire. Ran course backwards to catch the other runners at the end of the their run.
10/10 - 30 minute run. 2.75 miles with a pace of 10:11. Daniels training run. Ran in Pearland.
10/11 - 30 minute run with 5 strides at end. 2.8 miles with a pace of 10:26. Ran in Pearland.
10/12 - 30 minute run on trails at HSP. 2.9 miles with a pace of 10:20. Ran alone.
10/13 - 4 miles on trails at HSP in 36:10. 90 feet of elevation. Average pace 8:55. Ran with Phillip and Craig. Phillip cranked the pace after a few miles.
Not the best week of training. The long run should have been nearly twice as long and hopefully twice as far. Had one day of strides. Need a couple more. Felt good on the 13th.
